These terms apply when you use this site to talk to Alice. By starting a conversation you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't start one. "riivo", "we" and "us" means [REGISTERED COMPANY NAME] (registration number [NUMBER]).
1. What this is
Alice is an AI business analyst. She has a short conversation with you about how your business runs, and a riivo consultant then sends you a findings note. The conversation and the note are free, and there is no obligation to buy anything from riivo.
2. Alice is an AI
You are talking to an artificial intelligence, not a person. Alice can misunderstand or make mistakes. A riivo consultant reviews every conversation before your findings note is sent, but nothing Alice says during the conversation is a commitment or offer from riivo.
3. Not professional advice
The conversation and the findings note are general observations to help you think about your operations. They are not legal, regulatory, tax, financial or investment advice, and you should not rely on them as such. Any decisions you make are your own.
4. Recording
We record and transcribe the conversation, with your consent, so we can prepare your findings note. Our privacy policy explains how we handle it. You can end the conversation at any time.
5. Using it properly
Please use Alice only to discuss your own business. Don't share passwords, ID numbers, banking details or personal information about your clients, and don't use the service to harass, mislead, test for security weaknesses, or overload it. We may limit or stop access if we see misuse, and we may limit how many conversations can take place each day.
6. Your information and ours
What you tell us about your business stays yours. You allow us to use it to prepare your findings note and follow up with you. We will treat it as confidential and will not share it outside riivo except with the service providers named in our privacy policy. The site, Alice, the findings note format and riivo's materials belong to riivo or its licensors.
7. Availability
We provide the service as it is and as available. It may sometimes be unavailable, slow or interrupted, and we may change or withdraw it at any time.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, riivo is not liable for any loss arising from your use of this free service or from relying on the conversation or the findings note. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act in South Africa or the Consumer Rights Act in the United Kingdom, where they apply.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. If you are in the United Kingdom, you also keep the protection of any mandatory UK law.
